Vendor Management Analyst-Supply Chain-Remote - 130860

Job Description

DESCRIPTION

Involves technology-based analysis of business practices, processes and problems; developing solutions which may involve process design, data and information architecture, software development and policy or procedural changes; creating specifications for systems to meet requirements; validating requirements against needs; designing details of automated systems; developing user interface design; planning and executing unit integration and end-user acceptance testing; may develop training materials for system implementation. May lead cross-functional teams to solve complex business or systems issues.

Applies skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry-wide business process and analysis practices and organizational policies and procedures. Resolves a wide range of business process issues of moderate to complex scope. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions.

  • PaymentWorks vendor management
  • Premier Connect vendor creation and update
  • Vendor accounts setup and maintenance
  • Vendor EDI configuration
  • Vendor relation management and communication
  • Quarterly vendor records audit
  • Mass item creation and update
  • Item Catalog management
  • Resolve Contracts Module item exceptions
  • GHX accounts and addresses creation and maintenance
  • Weekly GHX exceptions report and item correction
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration and / or related area, and / or equivalent combination of experience / training.
  • Three (3) or more years of relevant experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in a large, healthcare organization.
  • Expert knowledge of Premier Connect ERP.
  • Proficient with Premier Connect Mass Item Maintenance tool.
  • Expert knowledge of UC San Diego Health Supply Chain business process related to vendor setup, maintenance, structure, and item exceptions management/ resolution.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $74,300 - $134,500 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $35.58 - $64.42

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
