Work includes: microbe culture, phage isolation and propagation, cloning scheme design, report generation, and minor methods development and optimization. Additionally the position contributes to routine lab management activities such as maintaining the needed levels of shared supplies.

  • Proficiency with modern cloning techniques such as Goldengate and Gibson assembly in non-model microbes
  • Familiarity with standard bacteriophage manipulation and engineering methods

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

  • Minimum of 2 years of research experience with independent contributions
  • Experience with Bioinformatics
