The Program Director of Recruiting plays an incredibly important role in the football program by leading and directing the recruiting efforts of all prospective student-athletes. This includes recruiting strategy for all prospects, coordination of coaching staff in evaluation (video and in-person) and contacts of all prospects, and communication strategies for all prospects on digital, print, video, and social media platforms. In addition to overseeing all facets of the recruiting strategy and recruiting office, this position is responsible for the overall organization of all prospect recruiting visits to the Notre Dame campus and must possess a multitude of skills to ensure success.
The Program Director of Recruiting for Football will also help facilitate relationships with various departments including athletic compliance, academic services, admissions, faculty members, facilities, and outside vendors. The Program Director of Recruiting will report to the Assistant Athletic Director for Football Player Personnel. The position must have the ability to multi-task, problem solve, work long hours, and function independently with a sense of urgency while being proactive to upcoming initiatives and the ever-changing landscape of football recruiting. Accurate and concise record keeping skills with a high level of organization are also required. It is imperative that the individual in this position have tremendous social skills and be able to clearly communicate to various constituents and to individuals of different socioeconomic backgrounds. This is a huge role that has significant impact and is critical to the future success of the football program.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
- 3 to 4 years experience
- Must possess ability to multi-task, problem solve, be proactive and work independently
- Strong NCAA Compliance knowledge and proficiency
- Excellent organizational skills and strong verbal communications
- Must be flexible and have the ability to work in a high-pressure atmosphere
