SUMMARY
Responsible for providing administrative support to the Divisional Finance management team. Key responsibilities include assisting management with reporting and analysis, tracking revenue, budgeting, and process improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist in analyzing and interpreting financial results, comparing actual performance to prior periods, budgets, and forecasts.
* Track, monitor, and trend direct bill revenue through auditing and reconciliation; resolve posting issues due to older bank accounts.
* Support process improvement efforts, particularly with acquisition transitions.
* Prepare timely, accurate, and relevant ad hoc and standard management reporting.
* Assist with preparing financial models to help analyze the impact of current and proposed company initiatives.
* Assist with the budgeting processes for assigned operating group(s). Maintain planning templates and reports, help to construct revenue and expense plans, and identify variances.
* Assist in analyzing large quantities of data and performs data reconciliations to ensure accuracy of work products. Identify and interpret patterns and outliers in the data set.
* Help to maintain financial systems, databases, and queries used for analysis.
* Assist with special projects as assigned to support operational objectives.
* Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One (1) or more years of related work experience.
SKILLS
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures and principles
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to work independently with moderate supervision and as a member of a team
Ability to perform moderate to complex mathematical calculations
Ability to interact professionally with employees across all levels of the organization
Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent assignments and complete work by required due dates
