The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is hiring an IT Administration Associate to support the IT Admin team and the Manager of OIT Financial Services through the coordination of HR-related processes for the Division as well as project support and purchasing. The IT Admin Associate has comprehensive knowledge of human resources (specifically HR Comp), budget office, position management, and purchasing systems and processes for the Office of Information Technology (OIT) and the University.
The IT Admin Associate regularly reviews data around vacancies and open positions and works with, and as a resource for, OIT hiring managers through the position description (PD) update, review, and submission process. This role will work closely with the OIT Recruiter to monitor open/posted positions and once an offer is made will take over all tasks related to the hiring and on-boarding of new staff.
The IT Admin Associate also manages other HR related processes including: Temp/On-Call hiring, Limited Term position tracking, UltraTime administrator, Student employee hiring, and other HR forms around position changes, additional pays, etc.
The IT Admin Associate will also cross train within the IT Financial Services Team providing support for processing Purchase Orders, receiving purchases, executing chargebacks for various departments. The IT Admin Associate will support the Manager OIT Financial Services in various projects, including data tracking and process documentation. This role will also support the Software Licensing team with executing purchases as necessary and the Associate Director of Finance in tracking any unused salary dollars.

Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to handle confidential information with high trust and integrity.
- Very detail-oriented.
- Good communication skills with all levels of staff, from entry-level to senior directors and the CIO.
- Advanced skills in Excel.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to help out when needed.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships within the division and across the university.
- Experience with HR Compensation, budget office tasks, and procurement processes.
Education: Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
Experience: 5+ years of related work experience
