100% in person - Sacramento Office, Must reside in California

WHAT YOU’LL DO
This position is responsible for supervising the administrative, facilities, and IT support requirements of all Foundation locations. Under the direction of the Office Operations Manager and working closely with the Director of Strategic Business Operations, the Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the Foundation.
  • Oversees the activities and operations of the administrative services function which includes procurement, facilities management, office equipment, vendor relations, administrative support and reception, parking, event planning, emergency response, and phone and mail services.
  • Oversees the coordination of conference room schedules and maintenance of conference room spaces between meetings, includes coordinating with IT for conference room technology needs.
  • Knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, the audio-visual equipment utilized in various meeting spaces.
  • Maintains and manages relationships with all vendors/suppliers.
  • Serves as liaison between the Sacramento and remote offices to ensure effective and efficient delivery of administrative services.
  • Serves as point of contact for visitors and guests of the Foundation, Chancellor’s Office and internally for colleagues visiting the office.
  • Supervises office purchases, manages department expense reports, and participates in the budgeting process for office spending.
 
ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS
  • Relevant BA/BS, equivalent work experience, or a combination of both.
  • Minimum of one (3) + years of general professional office experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) + years of personnel management/supervisory experience.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organization with professionalism and integrity and to develop, maintain, and promote strong internal and external relationships
  • Ability to interrupt ongoing work to respond to inquiries and issues
  • Capacity to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously on time in a fast-paced environment

Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range:
$52,000.00 - $75,000.00
 
Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity
