Acara Solutions client in the transformation & defense industry is looking for a Software Engineer who will develop GUI Software to join their team!
Location: 100% Onsite - San Diego
Pay Rate: $60 an hour
Duration: 6-12 months
This person will be responsible for developing GUI software to control a software defined radio and develop embedded software for the software defined radio.
- Configuring & putting the radio in encryption state.
- Implementing parameters using SNMP protocol on the interface.
- Configure new waves from radio system that has wave forms, encryptions & secure boot.
- On the Embedded Software side, C++ is required to implement parameters that are associated with the wave form.
- Work with the software development team to understand requirements for the application software.
- Follow the client's software development process.
- Develop presentation material for internal and external customer reviews.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Security Clearance is required.
- Experience with Java and C++ (3 years).
- Familiarity with Linux RTOS.
Familiarity with SNMP and networking protocols. - Familiarity with Swing and JavaFX GUIs.
- Experience with static analysis tools, Gitflow, Jira.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Master Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Communication or commercial background would be a plus.
