Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
The purpose of this position is to manage all operations – including staff – of the ECE Procurement and Supply Office in addition to managing the Department’s inventory process, parking allocations, and day-to-day IT services and facility access requirements.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for a degree.
Experience:
- At least eight (8) years (with a High School Diploma or GED); six (6) years (with an associate degree) or four (4) years (with a bachelor’s degree) progressively responsible experience in a combination of budgeting, accounting, payroll, purchasing and/or personnel work and a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated understanding of and commitment to “customer” service within the UMCP setting are required. Experience and knowledge in procurement, travel, accounting, budgeting and financial procedures and systems.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, time management abilities, and communication skills (both oral and written).
- Ability to interpret and apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, institutional and state guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple and sometimes competing priorities and provide excellent outcomes within the required time frame.
- The ability to follow up and follow through on assigned and delegated tasks is essential.

- Experience with spreadsheet packages and web-based business systems, such as ELF.
