The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of Assistant Program Director within Nutrition Services. The UEE division leads the University’s event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.
Why this position?
This position assists the Program Director, Nutrition Services in developing, implementing, and maintaining nutritional programs for Notre Dame Campus Dining. This individual will also assist in representing Campus Dining in campus-wide initiatives that require or would benefit from nutritional programming. This individual would assist in evaluating students’, faculty/staff, and guests’ dietary and nutritional needs; provide nutritional counseling and advice one-on-one or in a group setting; create nutritional plans; help those with food allergies or dietary conditions safely navigate the dining halls and their meal plans; assess for eating disorders and provide referrals as needed; monitor and ensure accuracy of nutritional and allergen information in NetMenu and MDI interfaces; help provide nutritional advisement for other Campus Dining team members; and pursue and evaluate new products and information that would benefit our customers and department.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist RDN
- 1-2 years experience
- Strong knowledge of food allergies
- Experience working with eating disorders
- Experience in quantity food service operations
- Experience in menu management systems
