ROLE OVERVIEW: The CEO is responsible for the management, direction, and coordination of all organizational operations and related activities for the purpose of attaining the goals and objectives as set forth by the Board of Directors. The CEO will conduct the affairs of Turning Point SOC, Inc. within the limits of his/her authority as set forth by this job description and the policies and directives established by the Board of Directors.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Five to seven years of significant senior level leadership. Past experience in business administration and in working closely with partnerships and community leaders.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Minimum Master’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Preferably hold a graduate degree in Behavioral Health, Business, Healthcare or Public Administration or a related field. Professionals who hold both graduate administrative and clinical degrees are particularly encouraged to apply.

· Have developed a wide range of relationships to improve/expand services, reduce/contain costs, solve community problems and secure an organization’s future through contracts, partnerships, collaborations, as well as mergers and/or acquisitions.
· Have exceptional political savvy and communication skills and a track record of building and maintaining close partnerships with appointed and elected officials.
· Be tech savvy and demonstrate data-driven decision-making including the use of data analytics in the management of organizations.
· Have extensive knowledge and background in community mental health, behavioral health, substance use disorder, and social services coupled with progressive leadership and proven executive experience.

REPORTS TO: President of the Board for Turning Point
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Serves on the governing board and is responsible for developing and implementing the Turning Point's mission and strategic plan.
- Leads in developing, planning and implementing the organization’s business plans in accordance with the strategic plan.
- Recommends, develops, implements and updates strategic long-and short-range plans to support the clinic's philosophy and goals.
- Informs board about current trends, problems and medical activities to facilitate policy making.
- Participates and coordinates the selection and training of new board members.
- Oversees and monitors treatment and program activities to ensure the fulfillment of the community's needs for quality health care.
- Establishes, secures approval and oversees Turning Point’s operating policies and procedures.
- Oversees efforts of for the recruitment, development, & performance evaluation of employees.
- Actively supervises the business and financial affairs of the organization and fiscal management including accounting, budgeting, internal controls and timely reporting.
- Enhances operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment without jeopardizing important innovation or quality of care.
- Continually monitors operations, programs, and physical properties and initiates appropriate changes.
- Keeps lines of communication open with staff to ensure a professional, positive working environment.
- Continually focuses on developing an employment culture that embraces high quality care and employee satisfaction.
- Delegates authority and responsibility to management team members.
- Encourages active participation & visibility within the community through effective communication.
- Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional development to keep current in the latest health care trends and developments.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
