Business Services Coordinator
The Business Services Coordinator will provide administrative support to both the Budget and Personnel functions within Academic Affairs Budget and Personnel (AABP). Additionally for 6 months of the year this position will spend 20 hours per week providing fiscal, logistical and event planning support for the Levine Scholars Program. Within the Academic Affairs Budget and Personnel unit, this position processes and tracks faculty administrative appointments, leaves of absences, resignations, retirements, uncompensated and dual employment appointments, along with the corresponding Academic Affairs' resulting communication, responsible for postdoctoral personnel processes including administering the postdoc insurance each month, tracks moving reimbursements ($100,000+ annually), and serve as proxy for Academic Affairs approval of EPAFS ($7-10 million annually). Within the Levine Scholars Program, this position manages student summer budget processing, purchasing card reconciliation, 49er Mart receiving and assisting with the planning and implementation of major events, planning and coordination of staff and programmatic travel.
Required Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor?s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. University Preferred Qualifications: * Four year degree in a related business function and one year of experience in accounts reconciliation, business processing, office management, or human resources; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
