The successful candidate will conduct rigorous, externally funded research that contributes to the division's mission.  The incumbent will play a role in the expansion of currently funded programs, funding acquisition in new promising areas & help develop collaborative relationships across the Anschutz Medical Campus, as well as with external partners. Candidates will have experience or demonstrate willingness and ability, to mentor junior faculty and research trainees at the MD, PhD, and MPH levels, as well as a willingness to provide expertise and consultation to colleagues & collaborators.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A terminal degree PhD, MD or equivalent
• Graduate-level, research-oriented training in economics, health services research, public policy or related discipline.
• Demonstrated potential to establish an independent program of research.
• Demonstrated potential for successful aquisition of external funding.
• At least 3 years of postdoctoral research experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience working with clinical faculty on research projects is desirable at all ranks.
