Position Description Posting Summary The Department of Education Leadership, Evaluation, & Organizational Development invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions in the following program areas: Programs in Higher Education Administration All residential courses are offered in an executive format at Fort Knox. Clinical courses are delivered online following the residential portion. Minimum Education and Experience
- Doctorate is required for graduate courses.
- Highest graduate degree must be in the field of study or a closely related field with clear justifications on qualifications. Prior teaching experience is also preferred.

Overview of the University
The University of Louisville is a state supported research university located in Kentucky's largest metropolitan area. It was a municipally supported public institution for many decades prior to joining the university system in 1970. The University has three campuses. The 287-acre Belknap Campus is three miles from downtown Louisville and houses 7 of the university's 12 colleges and schools. The Health Sciences Center is situated in downtown Louisville's medical complex and houses the university's health related programs and the University of Louisville Hospital. The 243-acre Shelbyhurst Campus is located in eastern Jefferson County.
Statement
Applications received by May 31 will be considered for courses starting after July 1. Applications received after May 31 may be considered if there is an opening in a specialized area of instruction.
Instructors are expected to attend provide developmentally meaningful feedback, present engaging learning experiences, respond to students in a timely manner, communicate regularly with project leadership and staff, maintain collegial and respectful relations with members of the UofL community and external stakeholders, and submit course data (e.g., Hallmark Assessment Tasks, midterm progress reports) and final grades within university deadlines, and comply with other requests as a part-time lecturer such as completing an attestation disclosure form.
