The National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) seeks a visionary leader to serve as the President and Chief Executive Officer of this mission-focused organization through a strong commitment to fiscal and organizational sustainability and meaningful service to its membership.
NCEA works with Catholic educators to support ongoing faith formation and the teaching mission of the Catholic Church. With a membership of more than 150,000 educators serving 1.9 million students in Catholic education, NCEA is the largest, private professional education association in the world. NCEA's focus is to lead, learn and proclaim by developing current and future leaders; providing educational resources and strategically expanding professional development opportunities for those committed to the mission of Catholic education; and serving as the national voice for Catholic schools. The President/CEO reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for fulfillment of NCEA's mission to enhance the vitality and fidelity of Catholic schools. The President/CEO will need to seek transformation through new services, different ways of engagement, innovative business models, new sources of funding, new partners and technology to enhance the success of Catholic education. Key strategic priorities include: creating a sustainable financial future for Catholic Schools and the Association; providing organizational management and effective leadership to NCEA's dedicated staff; pursuing new revenue streams that will benefit Association's long-term fiscal stability; and serving NCEA's membership by providing valuable resources to, and effectively engaging with, those involved in the essential work of Catholic education.
