POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE MOLECULAR MICROBIOLOGY
Job Description
An NIH-funded position in Molecular Microbiology to study persister cells responsible for multidrug tolerance of bacterial infections. The aim of the project is to study the molecular mechanism of persister formation by a variety of approaches, with a focus on single-cell analysis. This will include OMICS and tracking cells in a massively parallel microfluidics device (the mother machine). The project is a collaboration with Johan Paulsen’s lab (HMS). The appointment will be for a minimum of 2 years with renewal up to 5 years. Excellent salary and benefits.
