About the Opportunity

Job Summary:

The postdoctoral associate will be involved in a project generally in the areas of physics-informed machine learning, rheology, and mesoscale modeling of particulate systems. The initial appointment is for a year, with a potential to be renewed for two additional years. The position is available as part of a larger collaborative project with teams at MIT, University of Delaware and University of Wisconsin Madison.

The project aims at developing rheology-informed neural network platforms, combined with detailed mesoscale particulate simulations, in close collaborations with other experimental and computational efforts to deliberately design and exploit mesostructures in additive manufacturing.

Qualifications:

I am seeking candidates with PhD in Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar fields, with a strong background in computer simulations, rheology, and a basic knowledge of machine learning methodologies.
