Rate of Pay:
An employee in this classification performs work of routine difficulty by maintaining the IMT lab for instructor and student use. Work is distinguished by the ability to prepare the lab and assist faculty during open lab. General supervision is received from Faculty.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Some knowledge of the assigned discipline.
Working skill in oral and written communication skills.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Check inventory and restock tooling, equipment and material as needed.
Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM)
Repair Tooling & Equipment as required.
Assist students during lab time.
Maintain the machine's service record
Document tooling record.
Maintain the machine shop in a clean and organized manner.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned which pertain to the job description.
Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes days/evenings/weekends as needed by the department.
