Must be welcoming and helpful to students
Must have good interpersonal communication skills and ease in relating to people from varying educational, cultural, and social backgrounds
Must engage students to determine academic needs
Must be able to direct student to appropriate person(s) and other resources
Must learn all aspects of The Learning Lab
Communicate concerns, successes, suggestions, and ideas to The Learning Lab staff
Maintain student information confidentiality at all times
Must display appropriate and professional behavior at all times
May assist students one-on-one or in small groups
Must have or be willing to develop teamwork skills
Must provide information about services available in The Learning Lab
Must assist students in using The Learning Lab's digital schedule
Must be willing to perform other duties when needed including student assistance in signing into The Learning Lab, directing students to TRiO offices, or guiding in computer operations
